Since its establishment in 2016, the Diocese of Bunda’s Orphanage Support program has been a safe haven for the most vulnerable children in our region. Operating across the entire community of Bunda, including nearby villages and parishes, we are currently transforming the lives of approximately 270 children who have nowhere else to turn.
Many of the children who arrive at our doors have experienced unimaginable hardships, including a severe lack of basic needs, parental care, and access to education. We proudly open our doors to protect and serve:
Most arrive having gone without three things at once: basic needs, parental care, and access to education.
The program meets those needs directly and consistently.
For the children in the program's care, the difference is visible in everyday life.
Support for this program goes directly to the care of children: meals, school fees, clothing, and the staff who look after them every day.
